John Price's Profile

John began his real estate career with Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate in 1979. Eighteen years later, he partnered with Duncan Patterson to establish Patterson Price Real Estate. After several successful years, Duncan’s interest was purchased by David Baker of Baker Farms, and the business continued for 25 years before John returned to Patterson-Schwartz.

Over the course of his career, John has sold more than 40,000 acres of land across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. His impressive portfolio includes two properties exceeding 1,000 acres, one over 2,600 acres, a $20 million estate in Cecil County, and 1,600 acres that became the community of Bayberry in Middletown.

While land and farm sales remain a cornerstone of his business, John is now especially active in the sale of waterfront and country estate properties ranging from 10 to 50 acres. He is passionate about helping both buyers and sellers navigate this unique segment of the market.
